Peace and tranquility.....

No, not in this house but that's the theme I was aiming for in this layout!

It's a hat trick, twice over!!!

I've crafted for 3 days, and today I made 3 cards. I have now officially made more this weekend than I have since Christmas!

This one was inspired by the Uber talented Mel over at Mel Stampz. No, it's nothing like her card but I said "inspired by" not copied....

I made this one with an image that Sarah kindly stamped for me. I used "Fluffy Stuff" on the frosting!

And this one was just a throw together. I saw a beautiful flower that Jackie did at her class yesterday and tried to replicate it. Pity I didn't go back to the computer today to see it again. I might have even done it properly!

The long weekend is over so I probably won't get to craft again till next Christmas. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted....

2 layouts in 2 days! It's a personal record!!!

I have been meaning to scrap this photo for ages and finally slapped it onto a piece of paper today! Another page in the album! At this rate I'll fill it before I'm 50!

I wonder does this fit the criteria for the PaperPlay Challenges this week?

This week's challenge is set by Kate:

A Stitch In Time" Basically use stitching on your project it can be real, draw on or stamped, up to you!

I used a white gel pen to "stitch" the word Heads as it kind of disappeared into the background. It's stitching!!!

May challenge entry.

Karina over on Cara Craft forum set this months challenge. I hosted last month so I hope it wasn't too daunting to walk in my footsteps. Yes, I'm joking and having a little laugh to myself here! It was a wonderful challenge that immediately made me think of something I really wanted to do. And so I started. But as usual I ended up with something completely different to what I had in mind. No matter because I like it. It actually really does look better in real life! It's all scuffed, distressed, and inked but you can't really see it here. I was trying to print out a photo in sepia or black and white but printer isn't playing nice so I just grabbed one from the pile I've been meaning to scrap! I like how it turned out in the end and it was lovely to have messy inky fingers again after a long break! Thanks Karina!
If you click on the photo for the larger image you might see the distressing better. I really loved how the edges came out....
